Foodie Friday: The Banana Edition

For those of you not in the know, December 14 is Monkey Day

In honor of this great day, I will discuss some banana recipes worthy of your Monkey Day festivities.
When I want pancakes on a Sunday morning, this is what I make. With or without the compote. I often top them with coconut butter and some local maple syrup.
I’m baking some of this for the Christmas WOD/party, along with paleo Nutella!
This looks like a good thing to cure my post-Monkey Day hangover.
Bust out your ugliest Christmas sweater and get it all sweaty at tonight’s WOD! Then queue up Planet of the Apes Netflix and fix a feast fit for a monkey on Saturday (or join me at The Brass Rail for Bravas’ Burger Night) to celebrate our evil simian overlords.

3 sets:

Push Presses, 6-8 reps

Rest 30 sec.

Dips, 5-7 reps @ 21X1

Rest 60 sec.


EMOM for 15 min

Min. 1: 2 wall walks or 30 sec. handstand hold

Min. 2: 10-20 V-ups

Min. 3: 7 Overhead walking lunges (R+L=1) (25/15)
